Dr. Arien Smith, MD, FACS, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with advanced fellowship training in complex spine surgery. He cares for both adults and children with a wide range of brain and spinal conditions, combining neurosurgical expertise with specialized experience in spine surgery, spinal deformity, and scoliosis care. After earning his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Smith completed his surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a spine fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He has also served in leadership and hospital-based roles throughout the New York area and is recognized for bringing highly specialized brain and spine care to patients across Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx.
